You got to feel bad for the Treeman in this one. It was a lot closer than I would have guessed it to be. It convincingly won two rounds of combat and was then was slain just before it was about to devastate the Executioners (if the Treeman had gotten to opportunity to attack it would have left the Executioners with only a single model).

up til now, i'm not impressed by the results obtained by the new recruits... :p
Agreed, but it was to be expected. The new recruits were never put forth as being the best of the best. I'm more interested in how the Chaos Dwarfs units fare when we compare their results with one another. It will be also be interesting to see how our main competitors fare against the newbies in relation to one another. For instance, the Skullcrushers and the Destroyer are the only two units primed to claim 5 straight Massive Victories.

At least the Fireborn would have finished some where near the middle of the pack.

Talk about a hard-counter. S7 defeats T5 on 2's and also fully negates the 3+ armour save. Funny thing is, the other Bull Centaur loadouts will do even worse!

Close match. To be fair, it could go either way. If the Bull Centaurs form up narrow in the early rounds they end up losing.

This is also a case where, in a real game, a turn of rolling dices under / above average really turns the combat.
Great point! A small difference in the early rounds quickly escalates in the later rounds... meaning that either side can easily win with even some slightly better dice rolling than their opponent.

Yup. Though the dice gods are fickle...

Nothing close about this next one. The dice gods would have to perform a miracle for this one to swing the other way.
