Well, slowly!

I've had a go at some skinks...trying to make them look rather lizardy/natural looking while retaining elements of colour!

First up is a group of javelin skinks...still w.i.p but having a blast doing their markings!



Thoughts?

Looks good. They kind of have a desert vibe. Was that intentional?

Also, on the spectrum between high realism and high fantasy you seemed to have sided with realism. They don't look quite like real lizards, but I can imagine Hollywood Lizardmen having these color tones.
