The looming excitement that might be TW warhammer II

Everyone is saying it will be Grim The Paunch (Greenskin are last vanilla faction to receive an overhaul) versus Ellarion (blind high elf guy).

This content drought hasn't been that bad. 4\5 month gap. The gap between queen and The crone and vampire coast was 6 months
 
It won't be, not for this patch. There's not going to be a rework with it. It's either going to be a DE or Skaven vs Dwarfs or Vamps DLC.
 
With gotrek and felix arriving in october id expect thanquol to be up next if what you say is true.

As for DE... I'm scratching my head. Malus Darkblade, perhaps?
 
It's not going to be Thanquol either. They've explicitly recently said he won't be coming any time soon.

My money's on Throt but I've never made a right DLC prediction so far.

the shot was taken from a multiplayer match, and it pretty much shows how it went. A complete bloody massacre. The kroxigor ancient demolished the dwarfs, since his attacks almost always hit and they have a good AoE so he managed to kill 2 runesmiths, Ungrim and got 84 kills in total.

Next paid DLC will almost definitely be Eltharion vs Grom the Paunch, with Greenskins being added to the Vortex campaign. Ulthuan will be defending against its first ever Waaagh! while Grom will be destroying the magical stones required to sink Ulthuan into the ocean. Since that is his objective it'll make sense he'll be a horde faction too. FreeLC alongside that will be either Caradryan or Korhil, and since Korhil is kinda already in the game as Alastar the White Lion my money is on Caradryan.

So that means for this FreeLC it has to be either Skaven or Dark Elves.
Malus Darkblade looks good. Other options Shadowblade, Kouran Darkhand or Tullaris Dreadbringer.
And if we assume Thanquol is going to be paid DLC then my money is on Deathmaster Snikch. Other possibilities Throt the Unclean or Skweel Gnawtooth.

The social media manager of CA confirmed this so it this will unfortunatly not happen right now atleast. So the only real contenders for the dlc are Dark elves, high elves and the Skaven. Maybe they will do something with the other DLC factions, but i won't think so. The next free legendary lord won't be a skaven either, this they also confirmed, so my money is on it being Malus that arrives.

I was running my defacto anti dwarfs list, currently unbeaten with 23 wins against dwarfs.

Kroxigor ancient: Monstrous strength, Miasma of despair, amulet of Itzl, Horn of Kygor.
Skink priest beasts: Wildheart, transformation of kadon.
Skink priest heavens on EoTG: windblast/harmonic convergence, Curse of the midnight wind.
3 * Redcrested skinks
Cohort of sotek
2 * saurus warriors (shields)
1 * saurus warriors
2 * kroxigors
1 * feral bastilodon

Let the bastilodon go with the frontline of saurus so it will drag in a lot of firepower. Flank with the kroxigors and EoTG, make sure to always rotate them between either frontline battles or ranged enemy units. make sure the skinks either fight slayers, longbeards, ironbreakers or ranged units, since they trade very well with all of them and can kill the ranged units easily. The kroxigor ancient is a hero killer, make sure he is always on top of their lord and heroes, except if they have Ungrim or Thorgrim, then you just use him to win the frontline fight with the saurus, but stay mobile with him.
