The looming excitement that might be TW warhammer II

Yeah, but I looked at the graphics and gameplay in videos and.... going from TWW2 back to that game feels like a trip to the stone age for me.

Edit:
Hmmmm... maybe with mods? Some overhaul mod or something? Any experiences with that?

Edit:
And even then... we are talking about a 15 year old game there...
Their latest game '3 Kingdoms' takes place in ancient China and the conflict of the 3 Kingdoms. It has the most extensive diplomacy of any of the Total war games and the city managment is much more in-depth than the warhammer games. The game puts a large focus on hero characters from that period of time and they play kinda like how lords and heroes do in warhammer. Maybe you should watch some videos on that game and see if that is something for you.

Or if you want even more warhammer, then you can buy medievel 2 and download the "call of warhammer" mod, and take to the fields with the same units but with lower graphics, jankier models and weird and minimalistic magic. :D
Just look at this beautiful carnosaur.

Another round of news. The FLC road map has been updated once again.

The old world update i bet is going to be for the Greenskinz, the mount may be griphons for the highelves and the LL lord will be coming with the next DLC.

Mount announcement is weirding me out. I wonder if it's some sort of thing that multiple factions can access?

I saw a good suggestion for the FLC lord too - Josef Bugman, giving Dwarfs a presence in the Vortex map, or Neferata, giving the Vampire Counts a Vortex lord. An even cheaper alternative would be giving Grombrindal a Vortex mini-campaign involving defeating Malekith to get vengeance for the War of the Beard.

It's not news for the total war games, but i have some facinating news. Frontier Developments has signed an agreement to make an AoS RTS game that is scheduled to release some time in 2023. Frontier Developments have made games such as Elite Dangerous and various tycoon games, so i wonder how they will handle it. The story is here

So now there are 2 AoS games in development, one that is a RTS from Frontier Developments and an undefined game from gasket games, whose staff consists largely of old Relic staff that has worked on Dawn of war: Dark crusade, Company of Heroes 1 - 2 and DoW 2: retribution.

I am trying to improve my game right now as I am in a critical situation in my VC campaign and I still suck at the RTS part of it after 300+ hours.
I usually fix my tactical problems by just playing the economic game and bringing two stacks when my enemies bring one.

Grom v Eltharion FLC Imrik calling it now.
Here you go guys
The Analysis videos are already getting put out lol

The Warden and the Paunch you say? I may have to get in on this

I also liked how the trailer reminded me of batman interrogating the joker in the Dark Knight.

Both great ideas; I like the idea of seeing Josef Bugman grace the battlefields of TWW2!

Yeah TW have been on point with their references since the Prophet and the Warlock with the Predator scene

Maybe this part of the trailer is a reference to Mad max or something hmm (At 24 Seconds In)

I may have misheard but did he say you can only have one eating buff at a time? Very disappointing if so - so many recipes and you'll be pigeon holed.

Should be like Tehenhauin where you can stack that shit up.

Im pretty sure they expire pretty fast or something? And like you have to continue making different ones to get buffs for Grom? Not too sure, Im hoping they don't make half of them redundant

Hi guys.

As a handling for not getting enough Warhammer table time (first was due to my own schedule both work and personal and then there was that small detail of an international plague....) I bought Warhammer Total War (I.e. the first game) but with the Dark Gods expansion.

I haven’t played PC games in a L-O-N-G time.... Like the last one I remember playing was Warcraft 2 (ouch... I’m already feeling the disapproving gazes...) I played a bunch of PS 3 games a couple of years ago and thought naively that I would easily slip back into it.

Was not a nice first play,

Choose Dwarves faction, with Thorgrim as the leader and then somehow got dumped into a huge battle as the FIRST one and couldn’t manage to do anything, got depressed and haven’t touched it since.

I bought a laptop specifically to play this and now feel gutted.

Any advice to help me get going?

Cheers.
