Blog The Mighty Army Of Bowser

@Chicken Lips yeah a long time, but once you get the idea in your head there's no stopping!
@Crowsfoot I'll take bonkers as a compliment! Haha! Thank you!
@tom ndege Thank you! Ideas are there, it's always execution I worry about!
@NIGHTBRINGER I like epic! That's the first time I had it described as epic! So that's awesome!

This is great fun! I actually really like those colours on a Bastilodon and may "borrow" that for when I get around to painting my own...

Haha! I think it's a great colour scheme! Definitely want to see pics of that when done!

You are really a Bowser, aren't you? It has to be fun to play against you!

Thinking about buying squigs or something to convert into Boos for use as terradon. Using the rocks the terradon drop and converting those into chain chomps! Still unsure though, as most of the squigs look pretty small!

Honestly, I think the squigs would make better chain chimps than boos. More teeth and all... ;-)

What a fun looking army! I can even recognize the models, so cool.

I can't see all the pictures from my phone, but I LOVE the ones I can see! Your army is FANTASTIC!
Funny, clever and very original: congrats ;)

What about turning them into Goombas? And maybe fielding them as naggaronts or swarms (cause they are weak and annoying) :D

Haha! That is a brilliant idea! I had actually thought about making the goomba swarms out of The ones I made from space marine heads, but ended up using them as skinks for filler! But might go back and do that!

Tomorrow I'll come back to this thread with my pc to enjoy the pictures I've missed!
Have you got any plan on doing anything related to Shy Guy? I don't know, maybe a Night Goblin with a green stuff mask conversion...

I do have a shy guy! The kit bash was rushed, it's mostly space marine! Not too proud of it but I will post a pic!

Shy guy: formerly a space marine, cut the head to remove the mask part of it, Dark Eldar body for the hood, put it on a space marine body and glued the space marine feet on. Originally was going to make these guys my skirmishers, give them a distinction from the cohort, but wasn't super happy with how he turned out. Might take @Freddy25 suggestion though! Making the mask with green stuff would give more control and night goblin would be perfect for this!

Also my painting technique has gotten better! Not painting from the pot anymore! Thinning out paints makes a huge difference!
