    Now I'm fretting my hands at the state of youth....and media.

    Is there any movie or show for kids made in the last 20 years that approaches this level of seriousness. An entire children's adventure movie covering depression and death in the abstract.



    And the kid reacts more realistically to the claymation creatures and giant puppets far more than Ewan McGregor reacted so blandly to CGI threats.
