Destroy the ring. Your selections are loyal to you and the mission. Done.

I’m a bit late to the party with this one, I know, but had to get involved with this as I love Middle Earth.

$5 - Saruman: Not only is he played by an awesome actor, not only is he the most powerful of the White Council, he can also bring his Uruk-Hai Legions with him in his bid to seize Sauron’s power for himself. That’s a lot of brutally powerful Uruk-Hai and will make even Melkor’s apprentice pause for thought.
$4 - Treebeard: Not only is Treebeard a powerful monster in his own right, you’re also paying for all the other Ents he’ll bring with him. Look what they did to Isengard...
$3 - Eowyn: Because she’s fit and can kill the Witch-King if he shows up. She can also put in a good word about my cause at her uncle’s court, and if the luck of the Valar is with me she’ll bring some Rohirrim as the cavalry division.
$2 - Balrog: If the Ents come across anything Fire-oriented, I can bring my own fire-demon who will be impervious to it, for a bargain price.
$1 - Gwaihir: All the other characters in this list are there ultimately to provide the distraction to Sauron’s armies and his great Eye. While he’s watching the ensuing massive fight play out in his driveway, I can simply swoop up to Mount Doom on the Lord of the Eagles and drop the Ring into the magma below. Job done.

Visitors watch in horror as lions kill monkey at Scottish safari park
A family watched on in horror as a group of lions tore apart an endangered monkey at a safari park in Scotland.

The barbary macaque found itself in exactly the wrong place after escaping from another enclosure to climb over into the lions' den.

The big cats quickly spotted the intruder into their territory, and sprang into action.

Those present at the Blair Drummond Safari Park said that the screams of the monkey could be heard all around the park as the lions ruthlessly killed it in plain sight of the visitors.
