    Well the mental health parts in particular are awful, often with people waiting weeks.

    I’ve only ever been to hospital in the UK so I can’t comment on how it compares to others (although I have spent quite a long time in them and am currently in the midst of quite a long stay). However, no hospital is a nice place to be and I think the prison comparison is pretty apt - particularly when you’re in isolation and not allowed to receive visitors or leave the room like I am at the moment!
