    There will be another thread created for comments from the community. This is a WIP painting contest, so if we can nail down some of the points we missed on this time, the real deal ought to go a lot smoother.

    I'd like to note, that especially in the Open category i found it hard to choose a better painter.

    In the end it came down to Picture quality, and technique / personal taste to me, i was very impressed with the work that had been put into those models!

    The Conversion part was equally hard to judge! Pretty works there!

    The Diorama i hope gets more competition next time, 2 combatants was a bit sure, and even though i really enjoyed the skink in the pot, and the humor behind it, i must admit that it didn't feel much diorama'ish to me.

    Good work all, and TY for participating! I hope i wasn't being a rules-fascist too much, but noone responded to the submissions, so i took it on myself to be the "bad" guy :)

    Bob, why did a Lizardmen say "oh crap" and not "mahrlect"?

    Also, potatoes are indigenous to South America. I plan to incorporate a Skink eating a baked potato with fresh grub topping in a future fluff piece. Also one of my Skinks could have been yelling "handz"

    I'm worried about the next comp, I'm running out of universally recognizable zombie / revenant memes.

    Could you perhaps call your next painting comp character "Kenny" please?

    Actually, it could work for your next Novella, too!

    I took the first one because A) it was smallest and I had the fewest competitors and B) the brown vine made me think of undead
