Jungle Swarm in base contact with an enemy unit....

Stegadon charges in.....

They're Everywhere! rule specifies close combat attacks are poisoned so.....

Would Impact Hits be poisoned?

Would thunderstomp be poisoned?

If yes, holy poop I'm trying this!

Not sure how Impact Hits or Stomps would be effected. Poison happens on To Hit doesn't it? Both Impact and T-Stomps hit automatically.

Yeah, also there is a FAQ saying that Stomps and Thunderstomps don't benefit any special rules or magical bonuses the model has. Impact Hits, on the other hand, are another matter.

The entry for Poisoned Attacks (p73) states that if an attack hits automatically it cannot benefit from poison.

The most benefit would be had by the 5 skinks riding on top of the steg, who would all now have poison in CC. I guess on the positive side, there's really no disadvantage, every single unit you pile into that combat near the swarm benefits for free. I've really got to figure out how to fit a unit of swarms in my lists..
