actually. with a champion you can challenge every turn as long as you get to revive 1 model. its allways the champion.

also, slann. great for challenges in a saurus unit. dragon attacks, breath weapon and hunderstomp aren't magical, so go for ethereal and chalannge, as long as the rider doesn't put 4 wounds with his 3+/2+ and your 4+ you're good to go most of the time and static will actually win you the combat.

That is a big if. But yes it is additional dispel pressure. If you get either T8 or regrowth through your unit is safe.

Be wary. Lots of high elf dragons take the Amulet of Light, which grants magical attacks to the whole model.

did not know that, thanks for the heads up, alltough my chances of facing HE are rather slim as nobody plays them in my area :p, alltough i might meet a chaos dragon or a DE dragon soon enough

any1 tried out Oxyotl? he can fire directly at the prince and has poisoned attacks on 5+. also pulling out the blood statuette of spite on the prince at the right time could help...just theory - didn't fight the dragon yet.

Perhaps the blood statuette would be a good way to deal with the problem. It's only T3 and so there's a decent chance of knocking off at least one or two wounds. It'd take some lucky rolls to kill him though.
