I still think they work, the paint job blends them all in. After all this isn't historic Egypt but rather Nehekhara; some liberties can be taken. I plan to use such columns one day too.

I’ve found some from a Storm of Magic game I played with my dad last year first of all:

The tower in the middle of the Dwarf-occupied ruins, although a strange turn of events has led to somebody else occupying the tower.

...The battle when the dust cleared and we decided to end it. A close Dwarf victory - the ruins and the tower have been saved!

*I know the Wolf Riders at the bottom right are in an illegal formation in 8th, but my dad was running out of deployment zone space, so we just decided to go back to 7th Edition for this and allow it just this once, for the sake of getting started quickly - it was a friendly game after all.
