Total War 2 has ruined the carnosar for me

I keep looking at the amazing total war 2 carnosaur and then I look at the model and I can’t help but hate it now. The short back legs the big hulking shoulders, and the long lizard like tail just don’t do it for me anymore.

I’d like to try converting the model to look more like the total war version but I do not know where to start. If anyone has references to doing something like this or knows of a cool model I could try to kitbash with id appreciate it.

Have you any skill with miliput/green stuff?

P.s - for me it’s the carnos head I don’t like (I converted my own - see my blog for a few pics of it)

It's completely the head. The Troglodon uses the same body and it is a beautiful model.

I am an amateur when it comes to sculpting but I have most of the supplies to do it. It’s interesting that you mention the head. I hadn’t thought of that. May be worth looking into.
 
Pretty basic adjustments can have a big impact on a model :)

WOW.

I agree the head of Carnasaur is the issue. Considering its a monster thats supposed to have jaws that are good at killing other monsters, its head is too small.

This conversion is epic and really does look like the TW version.

It wasn’t easy to find ^ this one looking stage right.
 
I guess they don’t make those anymore.
 
I don't mind our current one, I still think it is one of our best looking models.

But yeah, the TWW2 one looks great.
