troglodon conversion

This is an amazing idea. You may well have convinced me to buy a carno/trog kit!

Any progress?

What a great way to use up extra bits and get another piece on the board for play! Model Looks Amazing! I might have to go out an buy one in the future and use your idea for a conversion too! Cool! :)
Keep up with you painting too! It will get better with time and experience.
 
WOW I just saw this and thank you I was racking my head on which model to go with but with this I can have both thanks man sorry but I have to steel this idea...even though my modeling skills are subpar I will work very hard to make it look half as good, Shiny monocle for you :pompus:
 
Hi I was thinking about building this -but without the skink and using it as a salamander(on a smaller base).
yours looks great have you got it painted yet?
 
Would agree on the tail but otherwise looks incredible, really good idea! Already going to be stealing the idea for my new army. Haven't played any GW games in over a decade and just now getting back in with AoS and a Seraphon army.
 
It would be hard for me to cut up a salamander model :(... but I dont have one anyway. It definitely could be done!

@Skinqisitor was the inspiration for my Golden Serpent entry earlier this year. Completely inspired to the one he produced, I hope he finishes it someday because I would love to see pictures! Nobody would expect it [no one expects the skink inquisition]

Loved this idea so I tried it for myself, still need to finish the paintjob and the base but i like the result so far. Thanks for the idea :D

Yeah i thought it was necessary to make it big, otherwise it looked a bit odd because it looked like the neck was broken or something
