Trouble posting?

Every time I try to make a post, I get the following error message after I have typed my post and hit submit:

General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]

MySQL server has gone away [2006]

An SQL error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact the Board Administrator if this problem persists.

Even now. Pressing refresh on the page a few times seems to make it happen, I don't know why it is happening in the first place though... So for now, to other people that might have the same problem, just hit refresh on posts until they work.

Uff... Its not working at all now. I notice a fair few views of this thread but no new posts today. Probably will require a backup restore, hopefully no posts will be lost this time.
