What does Lifestar mean? Is it just a Slann with lore of life, Slann with lore of life and a large squad of TG in a parody of "deathstar" units or something unrelated?
You are on the right track, and the term "deathstar" is used generically in warhammer terms to describe a unit that is supposed to be a massive unkillable force. In this case it is as you guessed, Slann in TG with Lore of Life, high model count on the TG, magic banners, maybe a scar vet or two, magic resistance, etc.

Forgeworld has a new department focusing on WHFB stuff which is apparently going to be bringing out a lot of stuff next year; some of the kits look quite awesome. One of the big rumours for next year is they are making Chaos Dwarfs. In resin and at Forgeworld prices unfortunately, but they will be awesome.
I don't think they have opened the website for it yet, its going to be called Warhammer Forge. Was unveiled at several Games Days this year, if you look around there are pics floating on the net. warseer had a big thread in the rumours forum if you can be bothered sifting through the dirt to find the few pieces of gold.
www.forgeworld.co.uk is the main site, which mostly have 40k stuff though they have made a couple of WHFB pieces and terrain.
