My gosh you gave me a heart attack. I'm doing Discourse Analysis' in my Biblical Hermeneutics class, abbreviated DA. And I misread that as "I can't get any of my DA lines right!" I was like "me neither" lol

 

If she divorces you for being a wargamer, she was never worth your love in the first place and you're well rid of her. If she doesn't love you in your Warhammer-painting mode, she doesn't deserve you in any other mode

 

I agree somewhat. Context is key.

However, if someone spends all their time on warhammer and is unavailable to their significant other, then that is a different story. If someone wastes the rent money on new models, that too.

 

For what they give us I'm only slightly miffed. The changes to bikes honestly hurt more as I've played Ravenwing since 2nd edition 40k. Line isn't the end all anyway as I play a warcrimes list with destroyers and interemptors as my troops. I use most any route or none at all depending on mood and opponent. One group I play with use no Lords if war or Primarchs so that meta is very different than the, shall we say more competitive people I know.

 

That is a very good point and you are right, context is key. I completely missed the context that the chap in this case was getting divorced because he was wasting all his money on his Warhammer and not putting enough effort into his relationship.

And that perfectly shows how a truly successful long-term relationship can only be achieved by mutual effort on the part of both partners. Look for a teammate, not a liability.
