  1. One of the most powerful armies. The High Elves and Dark Elves might have something to say about it.
  2. I own four armies: WoC (top tier), Chaos Dwarfs (middle tier), Lizardmen (middle tier), Tomb Kings (bottom tier). That averages out to middle tier.
  3. I started the army in 7th edition WHFB (while still under their 6th edition Hordes of Chaos army book). This was long before they were a powerhouse army.
  4. But most importantly, the strong make no apologies to the weak. :cool:

But by all means, simp for T9A if you like.

Speaking as someone who played WFB from 4th edition to 7th, WoC were always OP. Honestly, I have no idea how they lost the Storm of Chaos to the Orc players, other than because Orcs were more fun.

7th edition was dominated by the Dark Elves and especially the Daemons of Chaos.

You know, I never fought against daemons in 7th edition? Most of my regular opponents ran Vampire Counts, Warriors of Chaos, or Skaven. The irony here is I started Dark Elves in 6th after an opponent complained they were unplayable after I trounced them using the generic Dogs of War get-you-by list from White Dwarf... I ran a Cityguard army for most of 6th, which was usually capable of fighting most other armies to a draw. I didn't win a lot of games with them, but I didn't LOSE them, either.

The best thing about Chaos Dwarfs is supposed to be their amazing magical artillery. I don't regret them having Hellcannons.

The best thing about Warriors of Chaos is supposed to be their elite close combat warriors. They don't need a nigh invincible magic cannon.

Slann are overpowered, but they are supposed to be overpowered. That's like our one thing. Warriors of Chaos have two things, arguably three things with tooled up Daemon Princes.

I suppose I have a soft spot for the Hellcannon. I've loved it since it came out in the Storm of Chaos (and you should see how powerful it was back then!!! :wideyed:). It still stands as one of my very favorite models of all time (I own three and a half of them... and I even fully painted one, lol!). It's actually the first thing that started me down the path towards the Chaos Dwarfs. If I never had the Hellcannon in my WoC army, I might never have found my way to Hashut. It was the original spark.

Your point of view is valid though.
