Warhammer Meme thread

In truth, the Chaos gods are genderless. They don't reproduce sexually, so the male and female categories do not apply. They can take on the aspect of a gender, but it's superficial.

Yes, but they are also manifestation of the feelings and emotions of sentient beings. And i suppose Khorne is imagined as the embodiment of a male warrior, so that's probably the default physical appearance.

despite the spelling errors...

Yes... embodiment... superficial. They take the form of, but ultimately fail to meet the definitional criteria to be the actual thing.

Yesterday my daughter and my wife called for my help, to deal with a scorpion in our house. Does that count? :p

That does count, very much so in fact. I didn't know there were scorpions in Italy. Dangerous ones?

nah... of course their sting can be painful, similar to a bee or wasp sting.

here it is

So not fun, but at least it is not deadly. I don't know why, but I never pictured that there were scorpions in Italy. Learned something new.

Indeed, I also didn't know there were scorpions in Italy. Every day's a school day :D

But yes, certainly it doesn't look like one of those you need to be particularly wary of - its pincers look large and powerful for its body size, and something I do know is scorpions with pincers like those prefer to use them to catch and tear apart its prey, and to use them as its primary weapon for self-defence... with a comparatively weak sting as a backup. Of course they can give you a nip with those pincers, or still give you a painful sting, but ironically they're the not ones you need to particularly worry about.

By contrast, its those species that have small, slender pincers that are the real concern, because more than likely those have a particularly potent sting as their main weapon for hunting and self-defence, with the pincers as a backup. They're the ones that have the potential to kill you.

Ah, proper 40K at its best. Can't actually see any model among the Space Marines with a Blast weapon, though, unless the player is using the flamer marine as one with a missile launcher or something. Even then, though, it'd be a small blast. Must be a Whirlwind or something off-camera.

In any case, its crew won't be popular back at Black Templar Towers after the battle is over :p

And hurrah, Necrons walked through yet another blast template!
