Wow! I can't believe I have made it to six pages! Thank you all so much for the words of encouragement! They have helped exponentially!

I finished painting the other Stegadon in the colors my little brother asked me to paint one his favorite Dinosaurs from his child hood.

Last but not least I finished my board for Armies on Parade today!

We found a layout that we liked! And added more trees!

Added the fences and did one last check before we started gluing everything down.

I bought them from a chain stores called, Hobbytown USA. The brands are Walthers SceneMaster (a local product) and JTT Scenery Products.

Thanks. We have a lot of future boards planned out for the next few years. So hopefully by the time we have our own place we can use them as one huge display board.

That sounds great. :) Will they follow the same theme or will they be different? If different, what type of boards do you have planned and for what armies?

The next 2 or 3 will be in the same theme. I want to be able to put my entire army on display. Not every board will look the same. One idea is a giant aviary, another is a food court like area. After that I have no clue.

I actually joked about doing this! All the shops in the area don't have one small enough, so I had to order one online. So while it won't be in there tomorrow it will be in the future!

Edit: I went through some old Christmas stuff and found while not a goat but I found a sheep that is the right size!

Yay the sheep is hillarious just showed my mum and fiancee - can i take this oppertunity to say that the jurrasic world movie ruined the trilogy because lets be honest it should have remained a trilogy if they aren't going to deliver on the quality of the first 3 - its not even in keeping with the other films. (just my opinion shared by afew people i know :P) (P.s. highjacking this post for a rant ;))

Thanks! I am really happy with how it turned out as well. Still need to paint his Howdaw but that is a project for tomorrow.

I am glad you all liked it! It was a horrible movie. But it could have been much worse! Universal released a scraped idea for Jurassic Park 4. It included 3d sculpted Human-Dino hybrids that were supposed to be an elite task force....
 
XD years ago in school I saw a poster for jurrasic park 4 that was more about the virus that wiped out the dinosaurs (as one of the theories - i believe actulley there is geological proof about the meteorite wiping them out though - but i could be wrong) In any event the poster etc was showing the sick dinosaur that they see in the start of one of the films (1st one>?) and it was saying that they bought back the virus along with the dinosaur DNA so then humans ended up getting it. I still think although it wouldn't have had much if many dinosaurs in it it would have made a better movie. I subsequently believe it may have been a media students project or something. who knows :P
 
As a recent college graduate in geology. I can for sure tell you that there ia a lot of evidence for the asteroid being a major cause. There are some hairbrained people that are firm believers in the idea that they were wiped out by diseases.
 
Last documentary I watched was showing chains of events that were the cause of it initiated by the meteorite strike - so like volcanic ash filling the sky which I guess stopped a lot of plant growth and in turn everything died eventually well not everything - they said there were afew things that survived it a small %
 
Honestly and you may disagree with me for suggesting this theory but I strongly believe that The Old Ones returned to take them for a higher purpose.
