Blog Welcome to Lustria Park! Zheddikus' Paint Blog.

Is that Rudolph the red-nosed terradon?

That is a great flock of terradons you have!

Nice work, I especially like the stegadon stripes. Good luck painting the howdah, took me forever to get it right...

Love the santa one xD very nice details the baubles didn't go un-noticed :p very funny

While they didn't fully turn out as intended they do add a good shine!

Yes it is! He was intended to look more like a Christmas Tree but it still turned out well!

Thank you! It's nice to see them all done. They all turned out well. And I can't wait to have them cause all sorts chaos on the table.

I know what you mean! Painting any sort of stone has been a real pain...

Your Terradons are amazing! The Christmas one and the rainbow one are hilarious! So many imcredible designs! And your stegadon and howdah are brilliant! So much great stuff here!

I know it has been awhile since my last update on here. Painting is almost done. The Terradons have riders and the Howdah crews are done. nothing fancy. Just need to do the Chief, Priest, and Starpriest.

But the work isn't even close to done. A friend of mine gave me 10 old archer skinks to proxy as chameleon skinks because they were just collecting dust in his collection. I bought some green stuff and doing my first attempt at this sort of conversion!

Last I picked up a Sunblood(I love the sculpt of this model so much!) and a Salamander w/ handlers. So keep an eye out for them in the future!

I can see what you mean in the feeling of missing something but I am very useless and unable to tell you what that might be :(

Maybe more blue... The original has more blue... Especially around the face...
And it could be the fin that disturbs the eye... Maybe if it was also blue except the main rips ...if you know what I mean...;) your inspiration animal has no fin, so you see more blue on it...

That's all right! I was in the same boat! :Please

I will try this and see how it turns out.

As you got your inspiration from acuatic reptiles, I think what it might be missing is an overall gloss coat. But have a matt coat ready just in case you don't like the final effect ;)

I had this very thought! and will try this after adding more blue.

On the flip side I painted up the Sunblood! He turned out really well!

Much better result on the salamander now :D and the red gor rok? is amazing reminds me very much of Hell boy and nice jade effect on that sheild

Yeah! Both are cool! Sally and oldblood. I like the red, and the more of blue really looks great. Exquisite shield! ;)

The sunblood turned out amazingly well. The jade is superb. Your salamander is incredible. Absolutely gorgeous.

Thank you. I am really glad with how they turned out too!

Thank you for the advice. I really like how the fins turned out! Great idea!!!!

I also finished the first batch of chameleon skinks the this time. They will be getting some tiger stripes in the future but that will be a job for my GF. She is a million times better at small free hand than I am :P

Great chameleon conversions. I am looking forward to seeing these with their stripes.

Nice chameleon tails - did you do anything with the eyes I cant tell maybe im just tierd after work but if you didn't try it for next time they have particullar eyes dem chameleons

I did not. I tried but every time something went wrong. Some looked way to goofy, some really lopsided, or they would just stick to my fingers and get mishapen.
