What are you doing today hobbywise?

Plan for tonight:

Build trays for order 1

Simultaneously layout and cut trays and bases for orders 2-3

Package bases for order 4 I finished last night
 
Working on the Troglodon, how the deadline is creeping closer and it feels like I haven't got much of it done.
Also writing Death army lists, also might get called crazy for not taking much of the Skeletons, my battleline is Dire Wolves.
 
At Adepticon there reportedly was an army that had quite a lot of Dire Wolves and worked well, so yeah that might turn out great.
 
Nothing today but last night I started the bases on 89 models, all base coated ready for a drybrush ;)

Cheap, fast and can hurt if buffed so not a bad call, I'm going to add 10 to my army at some point.
 
Still doing nothing at all. I go to work, I get home, I fall onto the sofa. The end.
At least I am reading the new Tau codex so you _could_ count that as hobby time.

Yep got two units of 10 so far, plus with two wounds each they look very useful. I'm just used to seeing the Skink box and when I look at the Skeletons box... kinda wished it had more, being that they are part of a horde.
 
Everytime I read their warscroll I wonder: Are they worth it without a corpse cart? The 5+ save doesn't sound too stellar...

They are just to hold up the enemy while you blast the unit with Arkhan and your Necromancer ;)

Edit: Whoops misread that. Depends on whether the wolves are that important, then making use of the Corpse cart's abilities also.
 
Just remembered something, I did plan on getting some Bloodletters and painting them like the Shadow Demons from MediEvil. Now that there is a remaster in the works.

If I was to go with this little project, would I go with Enchanted Earth or The Haunted Ruins for their bases.
Hmmmm to go with or not to go with the idea
 
Carrying on with the Troglodon today, just the last bit of details and painting the feathers, still need to paint the rider, then it's the base.
Should be getting my Bloodletters today, still haven't decided on what base to go with. Both the Enchanted Earth and Haunted Ruins are iconic to the Shadow Demons, how the Enchanted Earth is their awakening and Haunted Ruins is where they scuttled off to and hide among the shadows there. Need to find another MediEvil fan and know their views.
