What are you doing today hobbywise?

A great-looking model, I take that it's a conversion some talented soul made?

Yep. Found it online while looking for something else.

If you want to use it as a Hellhound, you'll need to replace the plasma cannon with a heavy flamer.

Well, yes...

One of my many fan-made army book projects is Codex: Hrud.

Color me intrigued!

Talking of Stolen Sentinels, if, on the other hand, you want to use official rules for your Space Skaven, I'd say Genestealer Cults would be a more fitting army to play them as, because their Cult Ambush would be particularly fitting for Skaven, and they can ally in Hellhounds from the Imperial Guard list.

Nope. I started converting this army as IG (and then Lost and the Damned from the Eye of Terror sourcebook) over 20 years ago. Retooling them to be the Cult would be... kind of a pain, and I like how they play right now. Don't get me wrong - I did look into this because I like the idea of making some... um... well, Biker Rats from Ratacha... Besides, I have a Thudd Gun I want to use. :D

That's about the same era where I started converting my Genestealer Cult as a kitbash army that originally ran as an IG army using 3rd ed. doctrines.

In my own lobbying, I worked more on my heavy dwarves.

I haven't really followed genestealer evolution with GW as I don't play 40K or associated boxed games. However I did like the original theme of them where by they would infect a world and over the course of a few generations the population slowly evolved into full genestealers. (Hence their original name). Which brings me to this lovely old school model that I still have...

Played with my new Orlock gang for the first time in Necromunda, against a first-timer Goliath gang. I wound up drawing the short end of the stick in an ambush scenario and had to put up with grenade hell and heavy bolter fire before I could even start getting my gangers to safety (i.e. off the board edge). One of my gunners got turned into fine red mist by the heavy bolter, another gunner bled out after falling off a balcony due to a nearby frag grenade, one of my Road Sergeants got hobbled in a savage assault by a roided out Stimmer, and my Arms Master took an eye injury from a spud-jacker wielding juve. As my goal was to get as many of my guys off the board as possible, I didn't do a hell of a whole lot of shooting in this game, but one of my other Road Sergeants was quick to blast away the Stimmer with their own heavy bolter following what happened to the other one.

All in all, it turned out pretty well for my first game with my Orlock gang (I'm dubbing them the Junktown Salvage Crew), though there's going to need to be some investments needed to make them more competitive.

I've been working on some Chaos Dwarf tactics, reading the army book again for more list building ideas (my favourite part of Warhammer BY FAR) and bringing up my confront on finishing my Hierotitan basing...

I'm working on a Triarch Stalker (that i bought time ago along with a big 3rd hand necron army), which is largely incomplete...

Another one? When you'd just finished painting your first? Lucky man! Probably my favourite model in the army!

Soon you'll be able to recreate the War of the Worlds with your Stalkers rushing an Imperial Guard gunline!

Yeah, the first Stalker was a "complete" model, while the second one is totally missing the upper part.
Luckily, in the lot there are also a some tomb blades, and also in this case there were many missing parts, so i will use an incomplete one as "cockpit" for the stalker.
