Um... I got distracted and ordered a Piko, HO gauge, three-way, code 100 switch for a small model train layout... from ebay...

What arrived today was a Piko, HO gauge, DOUBLE-SLIP, code 100 switch from ebay...

But I can still use this, so I contacted the vendor to let them know the issue and that I'm okay with it.

That said, every time something like this happens, it makes me suspect more and more that I should be doing all of my model train activity in Lego form, and the only thing stopping me is the shipping costs from Poland for trixbrix.eu

Well, vendor was okay with that arrangement, so I guess my stub-end yard module is now a junction module?

Assembled some Gutrippaz, started repainting the (horribly painted with old Testor's oil paints) Ironskull's Boyz I picked up cheapish on ebay. Nice flat base colors to cover that horrible oil paint, which I will highlight/drybrush later. Gonna try to assemble my pile of Hobgrots later. I don't actually know how many I have and won't until I start assembling them. :D

Went down to my local GW today, picked up some Seraphon and got a Seraphon coin for it. Seems to be a new worker/manager and he is so friendly and more happy to talk, got talking about hobby and got a introductory game booked to relearn 3rd edition AoS.
Now to build a 500 point list, which I keep thinking and spiraling more into why did I book a intro game, but my mum thinks it's much needed with how I've been feeling lately, need to interact more with some distractions.
He's hoping I will get up to speed for the upcoming campaigns, which will I do? No clue. If they do the campaigns on a Saturday I might.

I feel this. I've been prioritizing social interaction over other things at the moment because I need to get better socially and I am dealing with trauma. Getting out is so much more helpful than staying in a house.

Indeed, getting about and talking with others in a more positive way does help with the mind.
What really stops me going and enjoying thing is mostly because I live far away and medical issues I have to live with, most games are in the evening so I never fancy going out late during the day, especially how far I have to travel as I don't like it. Medical side is more I don't like the idea of having to hinder a game if my body decided to throw one and I have to leave the table to sort myself out, then it does ruin the mood entirely if I don't feel 100%.

But here I am having a 500 point game soon, which could be Saurus and more Saurus. If I can find my Oldblood of course.
And it's the bonus of no more toxic games.

I played a game of Battle Companies with my son last Saturday. His second ever game. We had a blast.

That is a very nice thing.
What setting will the diorama be in, or will it be multiple moments from the story?

I am going to try and embed it in a recessed picture frame. Scrooge and Marley's ghost in scrooge's bed chamber.
If that works then I'll do one with the ghosts, past, present & future. And a small one of the Cratchets celebrating xmas

Built 20 Hobgrots. Cleared up some sprues lying around (I now have a paper grocery bag full of them. I should really do something with them, like make the frame for a Stompa or something)...

It was my Spawning Day today, and one of my presents was a box of Shadow Warriors for my High Elves, still in the proper Warhammer Fantasy box to boot.

Also I visited one of my new favourite model shops today, and @Lord-Marcus will be pleased to hear I bought some of Wargames Atlantic's Late Roman Legionaries in mail, for use as Romano-British/Welsh heavy infantry.

I doubled (tripled?) the ranged firepower of my Orruk Warclans Big Waagh in one purchase by picking up that Big Grikk's Kruleshots box. Waagh, mister Bond.
