What are you doing today hobbywise?

Paintedtomvb kings skellingtons. Posted them and tagged nightbringer. 12 hours later, no reply yet. Serves me right
 
Evaluating the speed job I did yesterday on Saurus Warriors and seeing what’s next to do on them. Also was home for first time in a couple of week and snapped some pics and took my stegadon with me to carry on with that. Just doing it as per the lizardmen citadel book (without swirly scales as beyond my talents).

Got my AoS stuff in the mail!
Soul Wars, Handbook, Glaivewraiths, Malign Sorcery! Have the fun of building them today, except from the Stormcast.
Was going to spray some Beastmen today but it's warm weather.
The plan was Hysh realm Brayherds with some mixed with Cygors and other models. Did had a skim over the Hysh spells and it feels like the Cygor will benefit from one spell from that, will need to read again properly and imagine the best scenarios with them.

Sounds awesome. I also look at Brayherd sometimes and think that one day maybe...

I was in the GW store today. Bought Malign Sorcery, the new GHB, the new core book, and a Necromancer.

Well rereading again and the spells are used if you are in that realm, so it's just the artefacts then for my Beastmen, the Hysh ones are rather amusing to me. With what units I want and that, might end up taking them as a Grand Alliance Chaos.

I think my main problem with Brayherd is that I don't like painting horde models that much. So I might take Warherd and only ally in a few Brayherd. Maybe.

Also with the amount you get in a box and price, well personal thought. Maybe because I'm used to Seraphon prices.
Makes that bit worse when one runs a Chaos army, Gors and Ungors being the only battleline. Bestigors and Ungor Raiders if you have Brayherd allegiance. There's me wanting the Cygors and a few Chaos monsters but it goes over the ally amount so taking the Chaos one.
So many decisions

Weather is still hot at the moment, still no spraying today, well persuades painting and building more. Nearly have all the skin on the Stegadon highlighted, need to go over again with a lighter colour. Started painting the Daemon Prince also, which kinda looks like a mess because of the colour placement.
 
I did a lot of building today. 10 savage orcs and almost all of the rest of my malign sorcery kit. The only model I have left to build is the Purple Sun. Oh, I also painted the last bit of my life swarm, the third spell model I finished. I had to grab some paint first.
 
I’ve made 30 Saurus Warriors roughly the same (arms legs the same colour and coelia washed) today and ardcoated a banner. Sorted them into open and closed mouths to do the teeth in batches. Then some drybrushing on shields and finish patching the sand on bases....looooads still to do...
 
Building some Crypt Flayers today, only have one bird head though still. Been trying to find more of the one I want but it's either out of stock or crazy expensive
Still thinking of which route to go with the Flesh Eater Court undead birds. Then if I take an infernal I can have the Flayers as batteline also.
 
Still waiting on the weather to cool down so I can basecoat spray all the scenery, I doubt that will happen. Also want to spray some Beastmen also, well I can just sit and plan colour scheme ideas for them.
So it's just more building this morning, also watching some slightly old videos of my cousin with his son building some easy quickbuild airfix models. Don't know why really, I'm just here like 'Give him a challenge!' Then he was building a good percentage of it. While I am building some models, might go outside in the afternoon and do some painting.
 
Made good progress on my Necromancer last night. Almost painted the whole miniature in three hours, which by my standards is almost speed painting.

Built three kroxigors. The overhead striking pose was a bit troublesome to glue without first giving the weapon haft a hot water bath.

I'm also finding that the kroxigors look much better without the turkey gullet.

I also got started on the endless spells I ordered. Chronomantic cogs are built and painted, and the prismatic palisade is built and primed.

Trying to write a Seraphon list today, not sure whether it will be 1000 or 2000. Still have permission to destroy the one I am playing against, so I could chuck in the Rippers if they still destroy things in a crazy manner but I don't want him going into a twist about it.
So to have a good list while not trying to upset the opponent. Meanwhile I put up with having my Carnifex blasted into pieces and failing every roll and losing heavily with my Skaven.
 
Played Deathrattle vs. Ironjawz last night, using endless spells.
The Purple Sun and Gnashing Jaws did quite some damage on my Skellies but the regeneration eventually won the game.
 
Found out the points, it's 1000 so how to write a Seraphon list for it. I could squeeze in the Slann, Astrolith and EoTG but it doesn't leave much left for the rest. Chances are I will get blasted cause Overlords.
