Having noticed that GW have sentenced their regular Orcs to death, I realised I needed to get some more Boyz to accompany another set of 4 of them with shields I bought and painted up a very long time ago. While I’ve sadly been unable to find any of the multipart Boyz sets, I managed to pick up another 2 4-packs yesterday to raise the unit to a usable 12. I’m planning to give them (and the 4 I made a while back) some of my Black Orc bitz (helmets, weapons, a banner and possibly one of the spare drums) to mark them out as a unit of Big’Uns that have nicked some Black Orc gear and are essentially halfway between regular Boyz and Black Orcs as they try to increase their status in the tribe.

I am surprised those aren't quite as dire as the easy to build Skeleton Warriors.

Probably newer models.

Anyway, just you wait and see what I’ll do with them. I’ve worked wonders with the old 2nd Edition 40K Orks, so these chaps should be pretty easy to bring up to speed by comparison.

They do some of the best-looking 28mm Carthaginians in my view so I went for them. I got my elephant (and big box of 62 infantry) through their webstore.

Speaking of which, he's coming along nicely, now with a howdah:

Finally got around to buying the heads for the Werewolf Cultists kitbash project, just need to wait for the Flagellants to come back in stock, also trying to find some good robed models from GW, might have to dig through the 40k stuff. Do want some Electro-priests from them, replace and remove some parts here and there. Got a few spare Wulfen claws. Also need to come up with a good name for them overall, Werewolf Cultists sounds... eh.
I did see some good ones, the Wyrdvane Psykers, but they are metal and by the looks of it, single pieces.
Plus I had the thought the spares I might only have is the Wulfen ones, got rid of most of the Space Wolves.

Grimcult Moonhowlers and Canis Fanatics sound really good! Thanks for the suggestions!

Trying to think of a good centrepiece for the mini army project, of course have the people, Skin Wolves and Fenrisian Wolves. There is so sort of shrine I could do but it doesn't feel that fitting, would make a good scenery piece though.
 
Even though I've been blessed by Nurgle, I still try and do some things cause sitting around makes the day go slow.
Been building Boneripper, I wonder why there is no skull option in the new kit but oh well.

Also been trying to update some Warhammer games, Vermintide 2 has a 50GB update... Going to take a few days.

Hoping to head to my local GW tomorrow, still blessed by Nurgle. Pick up some Warhounds and Electro-Priests, maybe also some other kits depending.
When I get something out of the way I will be hopefully painting soon, I got a personal challenge to achieve. Get as much painted, stuff for Armies on Parade before I receive some art I have been waiting on (a very long story)
So the challenge is see what I can get done before I receive the art.
 
In addition to ordering in another 10 Mk III marines and another pintle-mounted weapon sprue, I got started on a Legion Fellglaive for my Salamanders army. In prep for my next 30k/40k army, I also bought myself the GW raptor kit and Haarken Worldclaimer, with plans of converting the latter into a proper Night Lord.
 
Just did some rolling the texture pin over some foam sheets and stuck down on the board and put a thin coat of glue on for AoP, I have no idea if it will show properly because it's white. I will soon know once I paint it, if it doesn't I will have to peel off and think of another idea. Can't really use green stuff as it's a large area that needs covering.
