Actually no, quite the opposite. It takes less time to prepare greater numbers of grey models. Therefore my army is more adaptable. I can better tailor it to beat my opposition.

Plus the opposition has to pay closer attention to which model is which. A very very slight advantage, but it still holds.

No! People distracted by a beautiful model play even worse!
I kinda understand the first one but even then: If all those options were painted they would be even better.

Hahaha... my innocent Lizard friends. Beautiful models only focus my attention. To see my opponent's hopes and dreams go up in flames as the beautiful models they have careful painted across many hours are slain and removed from the field. They form an attachment with the model, mine are simply tools to achieve the greater victory. When their model is defeated on the tabletop, a part of their soul is defeated as well. There can be no compassion; no mercy!

And in conclusion... that is why grey models are unstoppable!
 
You guys are also wrong, because all the time taken to paint could be spent on strategizing, reading and discussing tactics... not to mention playing more games.
