What are you doing today hobbywise?

Messing around with some Nurgle ideas in my head, might some of the Nurgle Daemons, mainly the Plaguebearers and Herald. Then work on something with the Nurgle theme, maybe something more on the mortal side. I did had thoughts of playing with the crow/raven theme again. Get a Harbinger of decay, maybe some Corvus Cabal. Now that I think more, it's a bit of a whole Plague Doctor thing gone very wrong, the opposite of a Doctor.

Had a couple minutes this morning, so put the first layer on the first of my Death Guard, testing a paint scheme. And put a couple finishing touches on my Freeguild General and my Fungoid Cave Shaman. I'll post pictures when I'm actually done with them.

Spent the day going through my Seraphon collection to see what I can do with a Koatl's Sunclaw list. For now, it's looking like I'll be fielding some 90 saurus warriors split into three units of 30, which currently has me building two more command blocks from 6 of 12 unbuilt saurus from a Start Collecting! box, and I'm contemplating either rebasing my old metal carnosaur or building the spare. Beyond that, I've gone back over my existing saurus warriors to add shields and re-sort how half of them are holding their spears (the entire unit was modeled for advantage before that was errata'd).

Starting to piece something together for the Nurgle themed army
Got some of these ordered to make a small start

Still messing around with the lore, pretty much this Nurgle-worshipping army lurks within the forest depths, known for tricking the unaware (to be honest, I would of thought appearance would give it away but eh, got to be desperate if one is lost) They pretty much send out their scouts to lure the enemy in with false hope.
Main units are the Corvus and the guys above. They also have some access to monsters, mainly corrupted creatures they got hold of. Want to get hold of a Great Unclean one and fashion that into a bloated crow with horns.
Will continue to mess around with the story and stuff.

My local store manager questions me and my constant barrage of ideas

Today I've increased the domain of the Omnissiah.

I wanted to test the new psychic awakening book, both for the Admech and the Knights, so i've decided to push the limit, setting a mostly melee list against a list of Khorne with 2 bloodthirsters and a Lord of Skulls (among other things).
I've had 2 warglaives, 10 electropriests, 4 dragoons, 3 melee kastelans (and 5 sicarian infiltrators).

...and I've beaten Khorne at its own game! :D

Another Romans vs Britons tabletop game this afternoon. The twist for both myself and my opponent this time around is that we were playing Hail Caesar for the first time. For both of us, it was a comedy of errors with bad dice rolls on break tests and really good leadership rolls on small movement orders. The Britons faced a crushing defeat, but not before wiping out a unit of legionnaires in exchange with a warband supported by chariots.

Putting all of the stats for my Ogre Kingdoms army into an excel spreadsheet like I did for my Lizardmen.

I've exhausted (for now) my list building activities on Lizardmen, so will do this now with Ogre Kingdoms and Tomb Kings.

(at least until I've played my battle of LM vs O&Gs)

Got more painting time in last night. I touched up the basecoat on the Plague Marines, brushed wraithbone over 15 poxwalkers, and completed four other poxwalkers.

Mass painting day today. As of this post, I'm going back over all of my saurus warriors with a can of Mephiston Red, primed my kroxigors in black, and even went ahead with getting some paint on a shattered temple terrain piece (Tamiya Red Brown with Zandri Dust pre-shade over top).
