So our escalation campaign starts up next week, at 1000pts. obviously cant fit a slann in at that points, so going with a skink priest, maybe add another at 1250 pts. but what models do you use for skink priests? GW has 2 on their web site, i have two of the the old metal one with the staff, and not as fond of the one with the cloak of feather since they took away that item. but i really want to do something for the skink to stand out. any of you converted up your own? just looking for some ideas or inspirations!

I converted a skink brave from the usual skink regiment.
I left his body pretty much te same but I altered a javelin into a staff with some added bits from my bits box and just stuck a couple of skulls on the shield. No sculpting required

I've 3 different skink priests at the moment and one in the making:
This one is almost straight from the steg kit. Just added a feather necklace and some bits
My favourite one, it's the little dude from Tehenhauins base on some floating rocks
This is converted from the new goblin shaman, head and weapon swapped from steg kit. Staff top is from my bitz box. The idea came from another guy here at the forum.
This use the 2nd body from the steg kit, a ordinary skink head. The staff is made from a javelin with the blade cut off and replaced with a skull from the savage orc kit. He's holding the cube of darkness made from green stuff
