    I don’t wish it was over, but I do wish it wouldn’t start so soon. I don’t think I can do two months of Christmas music. A week or two is enough

    Nah, I am not the Grinch. The Grinch wants to actively do something about it and spoil it for everyone.
    I know I cannot stop it and I won't try. I don't mind if people enjoy it but I wish they would do so in private and leave me alone with it since I don't enjoy it and would like to have the option to opt out.

    Of course it will be difficult to fully get away from it as it is pretty much everywhere. Best to stay indoors away from everyone!

    That's my go-to tactic during Christmas, but it is hard to do that from November until January. Or maybe I should move into the Muslim part of town. :D (has other disadvantages though)

    You're from Germany are you not? I heard Christmas is pretty well celebrated there. German Christmas markets and all.

    I'd imagine it would be extremely difficult to find refuge from it there.
