Glad you were able to get a game in, the army is really coming along great!

Great looking unit, love how you painted the helmets!

Gave them all a good flocking, but something went wrong. I stacked on the flock thick but not much of it stuck to the base and looks a little bare and shiny, will have to re-do it.. ugh :/

So, now I am on to SKINKS, they all took a lot longer than I thought they would, lots of tiny details and things where I wasn't quite sure what it was meant to be due to the sculpt. I had a lot of trouble with green and couldn't quite get a good shade for a long time. The paint layer is probably too thick, considering I didn't strip and just painted on top, but I am now reasonably happy with the result, especially with the final layer of bright green and yellow mixed.

    The before

And the now.. basically a lot more luminous!

    Nice looking photos!

While the minis themselves do look fantastic of course, I can't help but wonder if the units got light or heavy cover from hiding behind those haystacks :D

Haha, neither! They were objectives that had to destroyed.

I am currently working on these flyers, mostly just painting ontop of ancient paintwork.. should be OK, though I am not quite sure how to make the wings look good without any kind of green ink.

Some ink or a wash should help? They seem to have a lot of texture.

Here we go, they are flying on the standard GW flying base. I inserted some greenstuff within the hole on the model, which helps a lot in terms of keeping it stable.

Wow they look fantastic! Great to see the flock all finished and swooping around next to your terrain
