Hey all,
So I've been here lurking for years (like a well concealed Chameleon skink), and after more Total War Warhammer over the festive period than I'd care to admit - it's time to dive in.
As I've always been a huge fan of a good old forum thread hobby blog, I thought it was finally time to get my account up and running...and to get started!
For this project, I'll be building towards a Thunder Lizards army. And because I'm really not a fan of so many of the GW sculpts...I'll be exploring the depths of 3D printing to build a collection of my favourite interpretations of our beloved Lizardmen.
To get started, it just had to be a Slann. It was the Aztec toad wizards that first caught my eye as a kid, and it was a sculpt of an Atzec toad wizard that brought me back in.
So meet Lord Cueyatl.
(ArchVillain Games, bought from Etsy)
After years of 40k and nothing but Grimdark, I'm so excited to really push the brightness and colours with this army. I enjoyed painting this big boy so much.
I've got some absolutely stunning Kroxigar models on the workbench next, so stay tuned and thanks for having me!
