My first entrance: a miniature I bought like fifteen years ago (woah, I'm and Old One…) when I was creating a ferocious Orc Army.
In those times, when my parents bougth the wyvern model, that was absolutely AWESOME and I allways tried my best painting it. Easily, this monster has benn painted like 5-6 times through all those yeaars and even I made a conversion to "open the jaws of the monster".
A pair of months ago I decided to make justice to this reptilian asshole and re-convert and repaint it.
Hours and hours of "Siple Green", layers of browns, purples, ink and glued fingers… HERE IT IS:
Keep in mind, I usually play 7th edition with some friends and my brother, so i use square bases in all my models. The 50x50mm base of the wyvern allways seemed too small for me, so I created a new one with wood.
The inferior maw and all the tooths are modelled in Green stuff. The big horns are the twin tail of the Troglodon. The transition head-horn is also Green stuff.
I based the color scheme (lightly) in the wyverns seen in Total War Warhammer and use three main colours: Greys (rocks, armor and axe), Browns (wyvern, Orc's details and base) and the pale Green to highlight the commander's face.
Hope you like it and next I Will post some chaotic guy with big horns in his helmet…
C ya!
