Hello there! I'm creating a threat to show the evolution of my army until it's 100% painted and ready to follow THE GREAT PLAN. It's not a "list" to play with. It's merely "all my lizardmen miniatures", collected throught the years and, at least, ready to become a full painted army instead of a giant tower of bits, horribly painted skinks and broken saurus spears. Everything in GREEN is already painted, and Will be shown in under those lines. The army consists right now in: COMMANDERS: ______________Kroq-Gar on Grymloq (8th Ed.) ______________Oldblood on Carnosaur (6th Ed.) ______________Slann Mage Priest (6th Ed.) ______________Lord Kroak (6th Ed.) HEROES: ______________Skink Priest (8th Ed.) ______________Skink Priest (5th Ed.) ______________Skink Priest (Feather cloak) (7th Ed.) ______________Skink Chief (Blowgun) (7th Ed.) BASICS ______________Saurus Warriors (X16) (6th edition) ______________Saurus Warriors (X12) (5th edition) ______________Skinks (bows) (x12) (5th edition) ______________Skinks (javelin) (x12) (6th edition) ______________Skinks (blowguns) (x12) (6th edition) ______________Jungle Swarms (X3) (7th edition bits+custom) SPECIALS ______________Cold One Riders (X5) (7th edition) SINGULAR ______________Salamander (X1) (5th edition) ______________Stegadon (X1) (5th edition) PAINTED COMMANDER: Kroq-Gar & Grymloq Feel free to ask, suggest or comment anything you want. Thank you!!
Thank you all. Here's another finished mini: A recently adquired Skink Priest (Yes, I know, I painted the new stuff BEFORE everything else). More pictures in the spoiler. Spoiler: SKINK PRIEST Next, I'll finish my WIP Cold One Riders. (almost finished 4 of them): Spoiler: COLD ONE RIDERS WIP
Those are all excellently painted and based. Kroq Gar could be right out of the army book, and I like the color scheme of those cold one riders, especially the shields!
Great work! Looks like you've done this before? I really like how you painted Grymloq's spine and stripes a brown color, instead of black. It blends much more naturally and isn't a stark contrast. That's very nice and subtle, but a spot-on detail! I also love the two-tone underbellies of your Cold Ones. They look great! Don't forget the spear tip! You're using your primary colors very well here. There is a nice balanced blending of the three (or variations thereof). Keep up the good work!
Hello again!! Thanks for your comments! Here is an update: WIP: Skinks (5th ed): WIP: Salamander: WIP: Skinks (6th ed) WIP: Lord Kroak As you can se, right now there are many many things on the go. If they are finished before September I'll be sooooo happy
I love your Skinks, man! The striping on their fins and the subtle gradation of colors is magnificent! Keep the pics coming!
