The looming excitement that might be TW warhammer II

I love that they brought back the colosal mammoth, it's like an arctic version og the stegadon. Going to be fun to put those beasts up against each other :D

Seems like they are bringing a fair few Forge World/retconned models back with Norsca.

As much i would love that match, it would be pretty unfair. The Mammoth will be the largest unit in the game, and have massive splash damage.

Oh so they are making their mammoth unreasonably large :)
Unfortunately the thunder lizard were never a model, else we could have had a proper kaiju fight there ;)

Unreasonably? It is supposed to gigantic. Just take a gander at the old Forge World model. It might be one of the largest GW / Forge World have ever produced.

The actual model is enormous. If you make a comparison with the Mammoth model and a regular foot soldier, you would realise they actually made the mammoth smaller in the game.

Yeah I knew that it was pretty big, I just assume they would make it slightly more "realistic" in size :p I guess it'll be fun to see how much the beast can take, even though there probably won't be any other creatures who can match it :)

I don't think it will be that impossible too defeat. It will have low leadership and it's huge, it will be freaking easy too snipe it with cannons. Also it will have huge splash damage, but really low accuracy, so it will be very inefficient against low model units. :D

They are less elephant, and more of a woolly Oliphant*.

*(see lord of the rings)

For some reason I can accept the premises better with this in mind than the chaos explanation :P

Is it me or does chaos warping become bit too much of an easy short cut for:" and that's why we have the best stuff" :]
I generally don't mind the big donkey elephant, it fits with Norscan, at this point I'm just keeping the conversation going

At first i thought the 30 stands for the 30 July or August, but i dug a little deeper, and found out that CA was founded in 1987 the 18 of August. So, i am certain that we will find out what it is on the 18 August.

Cool video breaking down the map.

Its mostly about the high elves, but there are some good shots of Lustria about 19:18 min into it.

Also there are some interesting Lizardmen cities spotted on the map. They look very "geometric," like they were stacked up in minecraft or something to me. Cool designs, definitely giving me some ideas, but I really want to see the siege battles in the cities!

Yep, Dogs of War confirmed.... :D
