The looming excitement that might be TW warhammer II

Is anybody going to get the Limited Edition of the game? I really want to, but I dont know if its gonna be worth $150

(it is currently much cheaper than normal, I try to never pay full price for a game)

Amen.

and hope to start conquering the Old World as the Bretonnians as soon as I get my desktop up and running.

Bretonnia is definitely one of the more fun campaigns, there is just something beautiful about 3 units of Knights charge into the backline of your opponet, and watch his archer's and later his frontline get run down.

It completly ruined my love for dinos, after i found out they most likely all had feathers. It doesn't make it better knowing T-rex's didn't roar either, they just made pigeon sounds.

This picture trigger's me almost as much AoS trigger's @NIGHTBRINGER

I hear a lot of people are not particularly enjoying the real look of dinosaurs, but when it comes to real life scientific research and teaching I reckon it's more important to illustrate probably then what we used to believe was the case.
Personally I find it annoying how we still see these wrongly depicted dinosaur in the media everywhere. Feathers was as much a part of dinosaurs as hair is to mammals, it was important for their temrmoregulation and of course aerodynamic. Especially raptors had very advanced feathers that made them much faster and maneuverable than had they not had feathers. So in many ways depicting them fatherless is like depicting modern birds still flying and without feathers; which I hope we all can agree would be rather silly ;)

I always loved playing with massed knight charges in Medieval Total War II, so I figure the knights of Bretonnia would also be fun!

last time they posted one of these letter's, the trailer for TTW: warhammer was revealed.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrpstooooooone *chittering noises*

*Coughs*

Erm, I mean...i'm sure there's no need to worry about reports of strange vermin. I'm totally not excited to see what they do with a race that totally doesn't exist.

A mysterious figure among fields of green, will swallow the world so pure yet grim...

High Elves Let's Play, against Lord Mazdamundi riding Zlaaq and escorted by Kroxigors and Horned Ones, which are basically Temple Guard units riding Cold Ones. There are also Chamaleon Skinks.

Tomorrow is Tomorrow and that is the day the Dark Elves will get their cinematic trailer

Here

Dark elves cinematic trailer. I never noticed how much Malekith looks like Darth Vader, he even force chokes 2 goons.

The rooster for the Dark Elves will be revealed on friday.

Maybe it's just because I'm not really a dark elves fan, but they didn't really mannish to excite me with this trailer.
Sure Malakith seems evil and sauron/vader like, and that's at least fun. It'll probably be high elves I'll be playing after the lizards, as it stands now :D

perhaps a little bit? Sorry but that typo is happening so often in this thread, I had to keep myself from doing that multiple times now. I was too weak this time. :D

You can blame my old english teacher, she was terrible at spelling:confused:. But too be fair i am completly exhausted, have been working in the garden all day under oppresive heat, so cut me some Zlaaq ;).

.... resisting urge to post "Mannish" memes... :sorry:
