Hey guys!
Last Scout, I think, is now complete. Here are bad pics for now

( still havent got around to buying a new memory card it seems).
So:
- I glazed down the highlights on the blue parts. Maybe not quite enough but i'm a bit scared it might be too much if I keep going.
- I painted the face, hair and last details (gem-looking parts on the gun, eye and one in the back)
- Did a couple freehands on the shoulderpad. The right one still seems sort of empty but I've spent too much time on this model already…………
- Corrected the base (some of the paint got scraped off when I was painting), added grass.
I'm still having some doubts on the face and hair: do you guys think i should:
- give them one last round of highlight. I don't want to highlight too much, cf what happened with he blue parts, but maybe that'd make it stand out more and it is after all supposed to be the focal point (or is it? it's half covered in metal, angled away from the body…).
- or maybe add some glazes to make the face a bit more complex, add some interesting/weirdish colours? I already used a very light glaze of scab red to warm up the colour, and it did make it a bit more flesh-like (too much Elf flesh and white make faces look like parchment, cf the last scout i painted on p.1…) but it also seems to have brought down my highlights.
Actually the pic brings it down a little, the face is actually brighter than it seems on the pic (the highlights are too thin to appear i guess)
(hey
@Crowsfoot ,
@neveroddoreven ,
@Xlanax_lot , if by chance one of you has a minute to help a brother out here, that would be awesome…… please

)
So I'm kind of confused.

But hey, it's done at last!!!! Next up are Blood bowl goblins, Poxwalkers (I wanted to try painting flesh a bit more, and try my hand at fades and glazes to get weird and make some progress), a Space wolk Fenrisian wolf (my gf's Xmas gift, they are real beauties

), AND my first ever Lizardmen miniatures: Cold one riders! Dunno what i'll be doing first yet.
Lovely Sunday boys n girlz!
