AoS Second Edition

yep, other Order armies could have used artillery as ally even without taking cannons away from Dispossessed and Free people.
In that case we would get the entirety of the dispossed (or free people) as allies though, which might be deemed problematic for some reason. I assume that's the reasoning behind it.

What I would've liked is if they'd given each faction a subfaction similar to slaves of darkness. A sub-faction that can be inserted in almost anything without breaking allegiance since they can gain the keywords. It'd help a lot to get rid of minifactions.

Same with ogres, They broke them up into Gutbusters, Firebellies, Maneaters, and Beastclaw. Beastclaw at least has their own stuff but none of the others do. Firebellies is one model. Maneaters are units of 3 with a rule change of your choice, but just "1" model (look different but same rules)

Yeah, they really did that to 'break' players of old factions. They can easily fix this but refuse to, I'm just wondering why they didn't do this with Seraphon. I believe our Battletome and unit selection is a verry decent way of preserving and supporting older factions.

Even if they would double the allies points, that would make it possible for my Dark Aelves to create a decent list.

At least my 'lil lizards are safe for now.

Yeah, it could be

Yeah, not a lot in there.
Perhaps they will all put it in Faction Focus SCE part 4 or so...

I think they are going to starve us out till release now.

well that is only 1 week.. though I would suggest they at least do something to not lose the build up hype..

They beter should have called it:

Leftovers, nothing new here
(Move along)
(Preferably to new GW products)

well that had like no info whatsoever...

While there's nothing really new with rules, certainly for me it's still worth something as it gives actual backstory to some of the smaller, less focused on factions. Of course, I might have just missed it due to not having the Order book, but it's still new to me

If only they would merge some of those subfactions...
to be honest for the aelves its such a shame. That silver spire box that came out a while back actually gave a fairly decent army, but half the stuff in it you can't actually get anywhere...

The Ethereal Amulet relic looks nice though!

Prices are known

The army box will cost the same as the dark imperium. The box with spells will be the same as a start collecting box.
Frankly the spells seem rather expensive.

But you get all the Spell pieces in one box, plus the rules and everything - it’s better value than buying each one separately if GW priced each one at around £10 (which they probably would have if they had had the chance)
