A Tale of four (many?) Warlords Painting Challenge!

A little more progress. Not much, but better than nothing I suppose. Finished the under layer (brown) and first layer of gold for the gold sections. Plan to wash and highlight tomorrow.

For my skink... I think I'm going to go with a camo skink. Haven't decided on a colour scheme; I'll probably try something different.
 
I'm combining a metal demon prince and a metal blood thirster into a new monstrosity, plugging the holes with green stuff.

It's keeping me out of trouble, but I'm also not painting shit.
 
Almost done the Krox! All the gold trim is complete. Now it's on to the stone section of the weapon and finishing off the base.

This is the most painting I've done in years! :p


But first, it's time for UFC 212
 
Quick update, I should finish the Reavers, just gold to highlight, gems, skin and horses to finish.............

It's been hard as the kitchen extension keeps getting in the way.
 
Can I actually change my challenge and instead of painting space marines finish the temple guard unit I´m working on? I´m not really liking the "situation" space marines are now in, and therefore I´m trying to avoid them and wait to see what happens in a year´s time :confused:
That way I can try to push myself so I don´t take all summer to finish my temple guards :joyful:

Update,

Reavers, gold done, started painting the points on the horses and going dapple with one or two!
