Hey guys,

I have been building lists and armies over the last month or so an this is one of the lists I consider to be competitive and it is fairly easy to collect and buy. I thought I would share it with anyone else considering Seraphon at 2k.

Leaders
Saurus Oldblood on Carnosaur (320)
Saurus Oldblood on Carnosaur (320)
Saurus Scar-Veteran on Cold One (100)
Saurus Scar-Veteran on Cold One (100)
Saurus Scar-Veteran on Cold One (100)

Battleline
10 x Saurus Knights (240)
5 x Saurus Knights (120)
5 x Saurus Knights (120)

Units
5 x Chameleon Skinks (120)
5 x Chameleon Skinks (120)
5 x Chameleon Skinks (120)
5 x Chameleon Skinks (120)

Battalions
Bloodclaw Starhost (100)

Total: 2000/2000 l
If you buy two Start collecting boxes, a knight box, and skink box you have the army! Our knights are chumps, but with the battalion and buffs from Cold One Vet's, they are decent. Their main job is to act as meat shields for your leaders. With both Carnosaur's alive, you get +4 attacks for all your leaders making them all very deadly. Chameleons pop around the battlefield weakening tough enemies you're about to charge or killing off weak enemy units that are left alone. I think this would matchup against most armies and it's pretty damn cheap to collect for a full 2k army! Cheers!

I like the list allot! Had a simular list myself. I would leave atleast one unit of chameleons and put a starpriest in for unbinding and support. Also a 6 to woundroll on carno could mean 6dmg becaus it doubles the jaw/bite dmg ;)

Im think of running a similar list, with 3 scar-vets you get 3 extra attacks on the bites for a total of 5 per model. At lest thats how i read there warscroll. Im I right or is that something that would be open to interpretation?

That's correct this ability would stack.

Yep that works :)
You could also go guards and 3 warden they also stack the att buff ;)

Wouldn't this be an illegal list? I believe you can only have 4 leaders maximum at 2,000 points.

6 for 2k I believe... and 3 battlelines which is fine with what's there. It's a decent cheap entry, but I would really rather get a priest in there somewhere, but I am a starpriest fanboy.

what about:

old blood on carno 320
scar vet on carno 260
eternity warden 140
scar vet on cold one 100
10 x knights 240
10 x knights 240
15 x guard
15 x guard

bloodclaw starhost 100

Thinking about running this for a tournament myself, one drop and properly buffed min 5 attacks per model!

What about this :
Olldblood On Carnosaur 320
Oldblood on Carnosaur 320
Scar Vet On Carnosaur 260
Saurus Scar Vet On Cold One 100
Saurus Scar Vet On Cold One 100
Sunblood 120

5x Knights 120
5x Knights 120I
40x Saurus 400

Bloodclaw Starhost 100

2000/2000

Then the next step up could be:
Bloodclaw 100
Oldblood on carnosaur 320
Scar Vet On Carnosaur 260
Sunblood 120
Eternity Warden 140

40x Warriors 400
10x Guard 200
10x Guard 200

Bloodclaw 100
Oldblood on carnosaur 320
Scar-Vet on Cold One 100
Scar Vet On Cold One 100
Scar Vet On Cold One 100

5x Knights 120
5x Knights 120
10x Knights 240

2940/3000

The second one is about £200 plus 5 Guard, so a pretty sweet deal for 3000 points.

I ran a bloodclaw at 1000 points with 2 oldblood on foot sunblood scarvet on coldone 2 units of 5 knights 10 warriors and 5 guard worked pretty noce the knights were making their 6 lance attacks 10 bites and 15 coldone bites re-rolling 1s to hit. Worked out pretty well they would wreck whatever was close to them. Drycas shooting was the only reason I really lost models they took the flutterfuroes and rolled really well lol. I really like this battalion.

Yeah it is a brilliant batallion. Works even better with a shadowstrike to support it!

Really wanting to try the two together. 40k has been the dominant game at my store lately so I've just been bringing 1000pts to make it easier for myself haha. It should be switching to AoS soon though!

From what I've gathered on this forum everything seems to work well with the shadowstrike, which makes me really want them to release plastic chameleon skinks.

At least the chams are one piece fincast if that kinda helps hahaha
