GW Made To Order: What materials are the models made of?

Yes.
I have no FLGS at all.
I am not sure if 14 miles counts as Local ( :cyclops: ) but it is a vast improvement on 43. Friendly, remains to be seen / not yet verified. Game store status:

1 FDGS; 43 miles; Friendly if Distant
1 UNGS; 14 miles; Unknown but Nearer

...mission is delayed; closed on Tuesdays.

... 90 miles to my closest GW... :shifty:
...... (and a 20$ bridge toll)

So yea I'd say that 15 miles counts as local. :meh:

good luck it's a 20 mile swim...
and around 200 370 miles to make a detour.
and a $3.50 toll.

I'm 10 mins from a Store and I have 3 GW Stores I can reach within an hours drive, arn't I lucky :p

My closest "oficial" store is 30 min if I go by tram, 10 if someone takes me there by car :)

I'm moving further away from my local one, but it's still not anywhere near as bad... Probably 20 minutes tops by car depending when/where I go...

...I believe metal and finecast are interchangeable but...
I will be enormously disappointed if I do not receive metal models.

In the past they have converted metal models to finecast but I believe and continue to hope that the conversion process required creation of a new mould specifically suitable for the resin material.

...but plastic is a totally different ball game.
I can confirm this about plastic: either PVC or various Styrenes; that is a totally different type of machine.

On the upside, I hear the newer models that where specifically made with findcast in mind,
are a lot better.

As far as I know the older metal models recycled the same molds, and just swapped metal with finecast material.
leading to a lot of air bubbles and miscast.

I have a GW that is about 5 minutes away by car. I haven't been to that store in ages though.

I agree. I absolutely despise Finecast. In my estimation it is the 2nd worst thing that GW ever rolled out.

Haha, and what is 1st I wonder? the mind boggles at what it could be........ nope no idea.

Nope.
sadly the best spot for a ferry route,
connects two towns both in the middle of nowhere.
