Not including the 30 I have built, I have at least 50 more salamanders on sprues. Plus all the saurus, saurus guard, 4th Ed stuff, slaan, terradon......I'm gonna be here awhile
 
That is insane!! Good luck. I don't even think I could finish those in 6 months... let alone 12 days.
 
Now, we're all expecting to be able to see the dirt under-their-fingernails level of detail! On every one......:p

I have 60 of those Saurus Warriors and have only been able to bring myself to paint up 20 of them. It's the scales that kill my enthusiasm. :confused:

Drybrushing is my friend. That and washes
 
Mid month check in!

Completed all the skaven for the Shadespire set. I am now pivoting to finishing a troglodon that has been painted and stripped multiple times...
 
I know I probably won't make it. But knowing that you promised to show progress after a deadline helps me to get them finished. Otherwise they won't see any colours for ... a long time.
And as @NIGHTBRINGER promised me some cookies after finishing them...:D

Oh, yeah. I am a HUGE fan of drybrushing and washing. I really need to pick up wet blending, but I get started with a project I want to make progress on and I wind up not "experimenting" with it. :oops:
 
My April goal was to field fully painted Armies across the first three weeks of my shop's Spring AoS League (one of my May goals will be to field a fully painted Army in the fourth and final week). I managed Week One, and now I'm working on Week Two. To hit the Week Two goal, I still need to paint: five Skinks (painted five last night), two Ripperdactyls, one Skink Priest with Feathered Cloak, and one Troglodon.

The Troglodon is the big ask. I also have yet to take delivery on my Priest, though FedEx says it will be at the shop this afternoon. Unfortunately, the weather here in Central Kentucky has turned cold and wet again, so I probably won't be able to prime it today.

I also need to come up with a final 1500 point list ASAP so I can get to painting on it. I know I'll be building, priming, and painting Lord Kroak, a Saurus Astrolith Bearer, and my new Balewind Vortex for it, but everything else is up in the air. I'd like to depend on already painted units, but I doubt I can make an effective list that way. My fear is that I'll need another Behemoth.
