Blog Ndege's painting and conversion lab - Nuff said!

Hast tto try it out... here the plan was to simulate a mixture of jungle foliage and lawn like grass around the shrine... think it works quite well... especially if considering the prize for this flock... I think combined with the army painter tiffs and my other materials it'll make some nice bases... just need to find some more white glue...:banghead:

Did some work on the stele... plants are ready to be applied... the wash turned out way too dark, though... means I will have to do two sessions of drybrushing before adding plants and flock...

Skink priest for size comparison...
Will add some blood for the snakegod on the altar as very last step ... just to mention that... ;):D

Yes, I think so... When they are placed on the base I'll wash them... biel tan green followed by nuln oil or agrax is the plan...

WOW really good looking! Love scenery :p

Dang that is a shocking transformation. I can't say I was sure how those lego-ish pieces were going to turn out...

BUT IT WORKED! :wideyed:

Your paint job was spot on. Looks exactly like a true Lizardmen ruin should, even without the extra foliage pieces added yet.

Beautiful design! For your own backyard?

No. It's for college... garden design and vegetation technology... deadline is Monday morning... kept me really busy, cause of a lack of background information... usually they tell us something about the garden to build on... like childfriendly or for elder people... stuff like that. This time they gave us a plain square and told us where the entrance would be... so all my own ideas this time! ;)

o_OTomorrow! I promise, tomorrow I'll post a picture of the first finished guy...

Today it's another whip cause I messed it up with the washes again... the head of his weapon became way too dark and shaggy... I'm about to fix that... just need to redo some of the silver and the golden spikes... and will have to highlight the claws, obviously... take a look...

I have to admit, that the backside of him didn't change to much since the last post he was mentioned in...
Here a shot of all three of them... I like how the brown scales are turning out...

So just leave some c&c, tips, advice and so on... ;)
Edit: I also have to admit, that these pictures are not the best in quality... better ones of the finished guy... I promise!;)
