oh goodness i hope so i love our builder friends but ive been holding off for lack of skill with model work.New kroxigors?
They might be right. Perhaps some fighter related to the snake carrying dude they showed last week.Lots of folks over on facebook thinking this has something to do with warcry.
I hope they are wrong!
Cmon' y'all don't give up hope.
The Facebook post has hundreds of comments mentioning it looking Seraphon. (400+ comments at this point) Even IF it doesn't end up being for us at the very least the community team is now VERY aware how much people love their lizard bois.
Seems a bit too big for that though. Unless those warbands aren't going to stick to human-ish-sized stuff and also include horse-size stuff or largerThey might be right. Perhaps some fighter related to the snake carrying dude they showed last week.
If the warhammer community doesn't know about this website they are blind. I thought this as one of the largest discussion forms for a warhammer faction outside Reddit and dakkadakkadakka(which is geared towards 40k) I could be entirely wrong tho.
Meh, given the sheer volume of stuff they paint I wouldn't be surprised if they had a decent chunk of freedom when testing paints. Plus, as long as a range doesn't flat out get discontinued they can Always find some use for it given the sheer amount of pictures and whatnot needed for white dwarf or displays at events and such. Plus, a slann is a fairly decent practise model, loads of different types of things to paint on a single model (skin, rock, metal, etc.) while also not being terribly large.Guess what the Eavy Metal team has been painting...

Not confirmation by any stretch but they are a very busy bunch and I don't imagine they were just picking any old models to test the range on.
Note the "really good" part; perhaps a multi colour Slann or (dare we hope) a NEW Slann?
They do indeed seem really nice for large batchwork with few details on the models. Though I fear it won't do much to help the worst units the paint; batch-work with loads of details and contrast between the details like tzaangor...being a lazy battlefield painter i do see a place in my life for the contrast paints
and can imagine knocking out whole units in the afternoon with batch painting and a return to white undercoats
