Long time, no updates. I've been busy with RL and probably won't have much time to paint for a couple more weeks. But, I just got a present in the mail, so I figure I'll post what will probably be my next major project.

Quick update. I've been head down in an Army class for the last three months, I have had almost zero time for any hobbies. But I took an hour yesterday afternoon to build a model. I also have twenty more savage orcs built, but not painted. Probably back to Genestealer Cults for a while with the new book. But still not sure when I'll have time to paint anything.

Update: adding in the full set. I'm actually missing a couple neophytes. I'll have to keep digging through my closet to find them.

After far too many months, I have finally finished all of the first unit I bought to start this paint log. I still have to base them and I still have to pick a shield design, but they're done.

Playing with contrast paints. I had a few minutes to experiment over the last couple evenings, so experimented with a few skaven. They are a little darker than I did my original companies, but they look pretty good. I will rebase them at some point and buy the new army book so I can play them.
 
Phone is on the fritz right now, so I can't post any pictures, but I got a bunch of skaven done over the last week or so. I did an assassin tonight, a packmaster, and a jezzail. I also finished the rest of that squad of 20 clanrats (20 more to go) and a mess of about 18 giant rats. I'll post pictures if I can get my camera working soon.
