The looming excitement that might be TW warhammer II

We all saw the trailer and thought it was pretty sweet. So let's discuss the things we liked, the things are indifferent about and the things we disliked.

Like: The unit designs. nice textures. freaking dinosaurs. Nice cinematic.

Indifferent: Riderless carnosaur, bastilodon and stegadon.

Dislike: Carnosaur's thumbs ( they look nasty). Really bad elf textures (might be because they haven't finished their models).showed more elves than Lizardmen.
 
Liked: the very anamalistic feel the army's got. Saurus and also the big creatures moves and feels very feral and totally awesome!
Loads of great dinosaurs, we might get everything from 8th and then some (carnosaur, and bastilodons without riders)
Mazdamundi was also quite cool on his palanquin.... And of course the monstrously awesome Krog nand Grymloch! !! :D

Indifferent: Terradons flying about was cool and all, but perhaps slightly more focus on other units would be neat.

Disliked: we saw more elven units than lizards. Unless we get more trailers than these, we have so far, to explore the lizards, I'm not a fan of the very little we saw of pretty much every other models in the army, than Terradons.
 
Let's do some math. There were about 6 weeks between the announcement trailer and this trailer. I assume there are three more trailers, on that notion, I can make a release date assumption.

If there is six more weeks between each trailer, then:

June 22 - Trailer 2 (High Elves)
August 3 - Trailer 3 (Dark Elves)
September 14 - Trailer 4 (Skaven)
October 26 - Release of game 2

That would be sweet! Perhaps they'll announce the release date at E3, then we'll have to wait and see if you correct. However I do not believe you're far off ;)
 
Like: the way terradons fly and dive to attack. Incredibly cool.

indifferent: the Slann that speaks. It's weird, but it's also logical from a gaming pov

dislike: we see too little of the rest of our army.
 
Did the Slann speak?
The way his lips barely moved I thought we were hearing his telepathic voice or something in our mind. Loud and mighty echoing in our heads. I actually liked that.

I agree with the rest of the points raised by y'all.

Looking at the lips, that was my impression too, but the "voice" was also... gurgling; and for this reasons it seems more phisical than mental

Yeah, one should assume that a telepathic voice would be a bit more clear. Maybe someone (possibly an Elf or so) had their cell phone running or something, jamming the transmission. :D

And so as not to be accused to thread derailment... the above post pertains to joining chaos to combat the new forces that will be available in the second game. That will be fun. ;)

Clearly he was not speaking, he was just directly putting his thoughts in our head. Hence the english. As for the gurgling, he does have to cross several planes of reality to reach us so reception is patchy, especially with all those elves, dark elves and skaven interfering with all the rituals.
