terradon skink of doom is a skink chief on a terradon, armed with different things like bane head+weapon. mage hunter.
Since I am not sure how new you actually are, here is the extended edition. After every round of combat you try to determine who won or lost the combat based on certain factors. The static resolution refers to your combat bonus before wounds are inflicted. Some things that can boost your combat resolution are: Banner, Battle Standards, Outnumbering the opponent, have complete ranks of 5, being in the enemies flank or rear, defending a hill (i think) some magic items/vampiric powers have combat resolution as well. Essentially taking all these things into account is your static resolution, afterwards you roll attacks for both sides and casualties caused are added to that res. The losing side of combat has to take a leadership test to avoid breaking from combat, taking the amount that you lost the combat by and subtracting it from your leadership. So having high static is good. Stubborn, which a few of our units have, negates resolution penalties to leadership tests, so they test on their base value.
It is still legal to play with.. Some people think they will come back one day.. They got some nasty stuff.. I hate to play against it.. but i like the looks of them. Those Cow Centaurs are just nasty for their points. Also there is a myth.. Somewhere in the the GW headquarters there is a big red button..With a timer above it. Some timer that counts down till the dwarfs will come back. Each time one asks if Chaos Dwarfs will ever come back.. they hit the big red button.. which resets the timer.
lol *edit* i would like to apologize for posting a one word post. im not used to using message boards, so i wasnt really thinking about it. i would like to make amends and further the conversation by inquiring what the storm of chaos is and what books you are referring to when you say "Big red book" and "little red book"
Please do not make one word posts, especially those just saying something like lol. They really add nothing to the discussion and are just a waste of everyone's time. If you don't have something relevant to add, just read the thread, enjoy it and don't post in it. I will PM this as well in case you don't look at the thread again.
The big red book is the rule book for the 7th ed. that you can buy seperately, the little red book is the smaller rulebook you get in "the battle for skull pass" box (the starting set with the dwarves and goblins) Also Storm of chaos (if I remember correctly) was a campaign run by GW a few years ago which had it's own special armies. Skavens Clan Eshin assassin army for an example or the dwarf slayer army.
