Looks good!!
What if you give a wash in between the scales? I think it will make them stand out more ;)

I really love that green+orange scale work on the troglodon. Awesome idea. It's the kind of thing most painters rarely even consider, being used to the idea of layer/shade/highlight without much originality… Kudos :D

Thanks, I was planning to go with green but I felt it would be too... plain. Plus being the only green is a bright Warpstone I have. So I went with a orange in the end, a better complimentary colour.

The Trog seems to be the star of my collection at the moment :) I think when the Black Dragon gets completed it will be a showdown for top place in the collection.

The Black Dragon is one of my oldest models I painted, seems to be another fave for a few.

Here is a Fen Wolf I worked on a while ago, trying to get the picture right on the fur, dusted over with a grey then shaded in certain areas, came out with a nice effect.

Once I get more of my skills up, thinking of doing commissions once I get college and many other things out of the way (so I have got time to work on it) No idea yet, need to research more into it. I could ask the Workshop but staff can't really talk about it for some reason so they can't help. I can ask one of the others, they do commissions all the time for people.

Working out what I want to do for Armies on Parade, could carry on with the Chaq'Kai and create their ruined city (part of the city). The Pestilence Skaven, just go crazy with the plague really, make everything look contagious. Or I could go with my first Lizardmen army and create the swampy jungles.

Got my TK models too, need to buy a base for the TK on Sphinx spares. Finally got an idea of how I could do this without hunting down for a body.

A unit of Wolf Rats, had a few minor air bubbles underneath them and on the legs but just put a little green stuff in and all is well. Well accept one has a slightly bent foot/leg. Used some corkboard to create the base decoration, these are the bases they came with, they are huge compared to the rats.
Just debating on their colour scheme, they are part of the Clan Moulder army I am making, the floor will be a white/ grey colour. I do have slight fluff for the army. Can't be asked to write it out just yet.

As usual the green bean finds it's way into the picture.
Gave the models a warm wash before sticking together, seemed to help out with sticking.
I have so many models gathering on my desk. How the realms am I going to put all these away into storage before the family comes down in May....

Are those fine cast or FW resin? They look very detailed but also quite sturdy!
Just throw them into a bag and lock it downstairs, for when your family comes. The problem is that provably only 10% will make it out. So leave them as a permanent exposition :D

It's the FW resin, crazy detail and rather sturdy compared to Finecast. The tails can actually be bent slightly and keep it's shape, I don't want to bend it too much but it's the only way to get shape like in the picture into the tail rather than dead straight..

I wish I have more space, might have to put them into boxes and temporarily move them into my room. Last I heard the young Spawnlings have been misbehaving so I don't wish ill deaths on my models. At least I have got till end of May to sort stuff out. I will have to pull out the plastic toy dinos and let them go crazy. Well the youngest one, who is about 2.

If you heat them up with a hair dryer until they are warm-hot you can bend them as much as you want with out fearing them from snapping (obviously not too much ;)), specially if they are so thin it will be very easy.
And yes, dino toys are the best to keep small kids busy, instead of having them busy with model dinos :dummy1::dummy:

Got my models from spacelizard! Love them, took a while to get here, I think customs had to make sure the Skaven weaponry was 'safe'
The rogue styled Skaven weapon team is almost together. Heavily based on ranged weaponry with Acolytes. Basing the colour scheme off my mysterious and old Ikit model (who will be also part of the team) Dusty grey fur, red fabric and silver and blue metal. Was painting one model a while ago.
Now need to sort out stripping the paint off the other models. Feel kinda sad cause the colour schemes are really nice but at the same time it's not my paint work.

2yr old and nice models is not a good mix, while you have time build a sturdy box with a padlock to protect your models.

you can lock the 2yr old in which will keep your models safe ;)

Well if the oldest is bored (he is staying round my house, ech.....) I could dig out a spare Skink model, I have a few spares that sit about.

2yr old will defiantly be locked away. Apparently she screams too much.

Want to work on more models but college are like 'You have to do Work Experience or you will fail the course'..... I'm getting nowhere with stuff at the moment.

The stuff you need to do will still de there after your work experience, always frustrating when you can't get stuff done but hang in there :)
