Blog Ndege's painting and conversion lab - Nuff said!

And at this point I have to thank you all here on this forum! All I learned about painting and stuff I learned here! Be it through tips and answers to my ( sometimes stupid or unknowing) questions or "spying" your paint logs and galleries! Thanks for that!

Oh! There is still a priest in the title of this! So... Here a small update on the priest! Changed skin color and couldn't see these orange cloak of feathers any longer! Went from orange to a mix of brighter colors... Have a look!

Gonna try something on him... ;)

I am liking the colours of the new feathers! Very good spring time colours and makes sense for a poisonous environment for bright blues, purples and greens!

Did some washing on the cloak. And as I said I tried something on him... I painted the skin dark green and then dry brushed light green and flayed ones skin or what it's called... Last step so far was a glaze of weight watchers green (got the joke?!) ... The goal was to make him look very pale green nearly albino... I'm not completely satisfied with the result, so hints and tips are very much appreciated! ;)

Starting to come together really nicely! Great looking model so far!

According to the model or a general list? ;)
He's not as pale as I wanted... Maybe another dry bush might help? But I think I will do the belly and the throat before that...

you could try a light grey glaze but do a test first, if that looks ok spot highlight knuckles etc after.

Hmmm lacking the grey glaze... :/ will have to go shopping on Monday cause some other things I need, too.
In the meantime I tried out a paint scheme for my terradons...

The wash is still wet... Could look a bit shiny on some parts...

This chief is looking good! It's a really cool model too! Can't wait to see him complete!

As quickly as stuff is drying at the moment it's quite possible that he might be finished this evening or tomorrow...

I really like how you did your terradons! Very well painted.

Also love the pose on that classic skink.
