@Lady Tor'ti Llaz: So, just out of question: how did Thanquol manage to mess up his scheme in your piece?

 

Haven't decided yet. I am working on a sequel, so I'll have to think of something eventually. You can thank Bluefire for that. She's good at nagging.

I have writer's block. Been a bit stressed out lately. I would be writing if I could.

Among the many satisfied customers is @Otzi'mandias who went from writing very tight, gritty and dark background chapters to going completely bonkers. A floating ocelot would not feel out of place in his fungus garden.

 

A floating ocelot? Meh. Whereas, a floating ocelot with a trumpet...now that has potential.

Amazing work everyone! Glad I can see who finally wrote all of these amazing stories! It was a great deal of fun to put my own story together, I am glad it was so well received, and thank you for your constructive tips! I plan to use them in my future fluff, when I get a chance I will add my own short-story thread.

In a sea of awesome stories, my personal favorites would have to be the Fireblade's Challenge and the Coward. I really enjoyed the portrayal of the conflicted and doomed dwarf doing what he thought needed to be done to save his people despite the deeply personal loss of honor. I bet he becomes a slayer someday. Who rides around on a magic carpet.

And I particularily loved the Fireblade's Challenge; I feel this saurus hero will wind up rising to the top but then meeting his downfall in a truly Macbethean fashion when his time is up. That's what happens when you make a deal with the devil... err skaven.
